Our Work With Charities

Our students, staff and parents strive to make a difference to the lives of the poor and vulnerable through our strong charity program.

High School Students take an active role in the running of our charities, where opportunities exist for all students to participate in the many and varied events on the charity calendar. Through their charity work, students may also gain credits towards their CAS and REACH requirements.

There are annual charity trips to Africa (alternating between Tanzania and Zambia) where students can see at first-hand how their fund-raising has made a difference to the lives of poor children.

A Charity Committee oversees charity events at the College, with the philosophy that all fund-raising must be accountable, funds stored securely, some personal link exists with a member of staff or student, and funds are directed preferably to small bona fide charities with small bureaucracies where there can be a clear outcome for the intended recipients.
