Mrs Sarah Wild Weekly Update 27/5/2016

IGCSE examinations finished this week for most students. It has been very interesting watching Year 11 over the last month.

  • BVIS Trung học quốc tế 20160527
  • BVIS Secondary 20160527

I feel they have matured so quickly, having to bring together the knowledge, skills and organisation they have acquired in the past 2 or 3 years. It was wonderful seeing how they worked individually and in groups, helping each other and getting support from their teachers. I feel very proud of them, especially when I have been invigilating in exams, witnessing how they are calmly focused on writing their answers. Some of our students could hardly speak English when they joined us at BVIS and some have only been with us for one year. So what an achievement!  We look forward to seeing their results in August. We also look forward to working with Year 11 on a 2 week programme commencing on the 6th of June.

It has also been a real pleasure too spending time working with Nick Lee, the incoming head of Secondary section, this week. He spent Thursday and Friday visiting the school and preparing for next year. He went to a number of lessons and spoke with many Secondary students and teachers. He is very much looking forward to leading the section next year!
