Staff Profile: Nick Lee

Nick was born and brought up in Portsmouth, England. Having completed his degree in Education at the University of Gloucestershire, he started teaching in Hampshire and his career saw him teach in a number of schools both in the UK and abroad.  Since 2006 Nick has been in senior leadership positions, and for the last six years has been Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Acting Principal, at The Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur.  The work Nick led on curriculum redesign at Alice Smith led to the school being shortlisted for the TES International School of the Year in 2015. Nick is a qualified BSO school inspector and a specialist in Gifted and Talented Education, qualifying for this role through the University of South Australia. His passion for teaching and learning has been a constant for the last twenty years.

Nick arrives in Hanoi with his wife Jules, and their daughters Jess and Fizz.

In his spare time, Nick loves all sports, particularly Cricket and Rugby, plays the guitar and drums and is an avid reader of politics, poetry and history.
