Debbie is a passionate linguist who can speak 4 different languages. Having been brought up bilingually with Modern Greek, she believes fundamentally in the benefits of bilingualism.

Since graduating in 2008 Debbie has taught languages in one of the lead schools in the UK for language teaching. She has conducted action research for the Department for Education on how to develop speaking skills in a foreign language and has delivered this content at the World Languages conference 2013 in Nottingham, UK. The outcome of her research has been embedded in many secondary schools around the UK.

Debbie is committed to developing students’ English at BVIS and promoting their bilingualism. Her extensive experience will enable students to flourish and turn into talented linguists.

In her free time Debbie enjoys reading and going to the cinema. She is currently taking time to learn Vietnamese and is very interested in Vietnamese culture and food.
