May I take this opportunity to thank all the many parents who attended my Principal session yesterday. It was a pleasure to share some of the major successes of the school to date and it was great to have the opportunity to receive feedback from you as parents on what you think the school can focus on next in our exciting journey. We will start to work through the many ideas and suggestions that were presented and feedback to you over time as we progress. I can already see that there are some wonderful ideas and suggestions and thank you for your important contributions.
Next week marks another significant milestone in the history of BVIS. Next week, nine colleagues from the Asia region and a senior Nord Anglia Education director will be visiting our school. They will be visiting classrooms, talking to students, teachers, PTG and staff and will be assessing whether BVIS can be awarded full CIS accreditation. Much work over the last 18 months has been put in to prepare the school for this visit and I wish everyone well and of course I am hopeful for a positive outcome for the school. I will share the initial feedback to the school with you as parents once the process has been complete.
Finally, you should have received an email outlining the start of a very exciting seminar programme hosted here at BVIS. Over the course of the year we will be running informative seminar events on key topics and issues that we believe you as parents and the community want to hear about. These will be hosted by school staff but will also involve external speakers who have expertise in the area of discussion. We believe these seminars will prove very popular and we hope that many of you will take the opportunity to join us for these seminars. Please click on the link below for details and registration for the first seminar
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
