Secondary Update

The secondary student council did themselves proud with a wonderful Teachers’ Day assembly on Friday, talking about the history of the event here in Vietnam and producing a lovely video and performance. the whole of Key Stage 3 then moved the staff to tears with their rendition of ‘You Raise Me up’ [link to video] We were also rightly proud of our mass Mannequin Challenge video which, if you don’t know what it is, you can see here!

On Monday, our year 11 IGCSE geographers took part in a second field trip, this time more locally, to complete their field work towards their final grade.

The final round of the house basketball took place this week, with the overall results and points as follows:

1st place – Dalat (200 house pts)

2nd place –Hue (150 house pts)

3rd place – Hanoi (100 house pts)

4th place – Saigon (50 house pts)

Thank you to the PE department for organising, and to Mr McConnell and Mr Preston for refereeing.

Next week, of course, is Trips Week for those lucky enough to be in years 7-10. We look forward to hearing all about your time away, and also reading the daily blogs from each of the groups.

If you’re older, of course, you have Exams Week so revision is already underway. Please make sure your children are getting plenty of sleep and revising sensibly for these important examinations.

Have a lovely weekend – and if you have children away on trips next week, enjoy some peace and time to yourselves!
