Last week I had the immense pleasure of representing BVIS at the SLT conference at the Nord Anglia Education student campsite in Tanzania, Africa. We have twenty two students attending the camp in March and I have been able to feedback assurances and some useful information about the site in preparation for their visit. I’m certain that the students will have a fantastic experience. This opportunity demonstrates the unique opportunities our students will have being part of a family of 43 schools world-wide.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents of the importance of collecting children on time at the end of school, at the end of clubs and from fixtures or trips. As the school gets busier our staff are always extremely busy and it is not always possible to supervise children who are being picked up significantly late. Whilst we understand and appreciate that on occasions things happen to cause lateness, this should be a rarity and not the norm. I ask for your kind assistance and co-operation on this important matter, it will help our staff enormously. Thank you.
Finally, plans are under way and there is a growing buzz around the school for our ‘LOVE BVIS’ campaign. Please check the website and Facebook regularly for updates, videos and pictures of this popular campaign. I hope many of you will take the opportunity to engage in this fun project, I know many students are already planning their ‘LOVE BVIS’ picture shots. I myself have recorded a video and captured photos of senior Nord Anglia staff that will go live soon.
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
