For just one morning only this year, on 12 May 2016 BVIS will open its doors to showcase our world-class facilities to parents interested in joining the school. Pre-registered parents will be able to join one of our school tours to see the classrooms, sports field and halls, music, drama and dance suites, and other venues and facilities. The tours will also introduce interested parents to our excellent library that features 56,400 books and is managed by our US-educated librarian Ms Truc.
Parents interested to see just one part of the school Primary (includes Early Years) or Secondary, are welcome to join us at 8.50am on the day. Those parents who also wish to see the other part of the school – for example families with children both in Primary and Secondary – are welcome to join us at 8.20am, and go on both tours. For convenience of our guests, all tours will be in Vietnamese language.
The tours will be followed by a presentation by our Principal, Mr Paul Holyome, who will introduce the school to new families, and together with our Head of Primary Ms Rosy Clark and Head of Secondary Mr Simon Graves will answer any questions parents might have. Our Vice Principal Ms Duong Nguyen will facilitate the presentation and the questions and answers session by translating from and to Vietnamese.
You will then have a chance to meet our students, enjoy nice refreshments ands snacks, and also join our Grandparents Event if you have time, where our students will perform for their grandparents, as we are an international school that values and respects Vietnamese culture and traditions, and celebrates family relationships.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our close-knit, friendly, and intellectually stimulating and ambitious BVIS community.
