At BVIS, we believe that we are the best bilingual school in Vietnam. However, we are not a complacent school and are always looking for ways to become even better. Our parents’ and students’ opinions are extremely valuable to us, and we turn their feedback into real actions. Let's follow us in a series named "You Said We Did" to see what we have changed and improved in response to what parents and students said.
You Said “Improve university guidance for Secondary students” We Did “Recruited a University Counsellor, created a dedicated area for Year 12 and 13 students, had a USA and a UK Universities Week, and developed a dedicated section on our new website”
You Said “Improve the bus service” We Did “Hired a Bus Manager, trained all bus drivers and bus monitors, and changed our supplier contract introducing consequences for non-compliance”
You Said “Promote global awareness amongst our children” We Did “Launched the international Juilliard Music Programme and the Global Campus initiative, promoted environmental issues via Project Penguin, and engaged in international FOBISIA events and competitions”
You Said “Continue investing in campus development” We Did “Created an Imaginarium sensory room in Primary, an exciting climbing wall in Early Years, a dedicated Sixth Form area and a coffee shop in Secondary, and four dedicated Juilliard music suites across the school”
You Said “We Want Even Better Academic Performance” We Did “With our IGCSE and international A Level grades now significantly above UK and world averages, over 30% of our students are going to top 50 universities in the world”
