Nine staff from BVIS had the pleasure of coaching football skills to seven boys from Green Bamboo on Friday.
The boys took part in a fun warm up, before going through a series of competitive drills designed to improve their footballing skills.
In pairs they passed, dribbled and shot their way to as many points as possible in a bid to become BVIS Community Football Champions!
We finished with a match, in which the full range of their skills were showcased, as well as some hefty challenges.! With the game ending 0-0, it came down to a penalty shootout, with Mr Phil demonstrating his cat-like agility in goal but still being beaten six times from the spot…
Staff and students alike had a wonderful morning. The boys were an absolute credit to Green Bamboo and left clutching their medals and certificates with pride.
