Simon began his teaching career 21 years ago as a secondary English teacher in Birmingham before becoming a Head of Year in East London.

Simon began his teaching career 21 years ago as a secondary English teacher in Birmingham before becoming a Head of Year in East London. He has been an Assistant and Deputy Head in both London and the East Midlands, and Head of Secondary here at BVIS for the last three years. He has vast experience of working with EAL learners, and is proud to be head of this unique and vibrant school.
