Running from November 28th to December 2nd, the Global Games is a five-day sporting event that will inspire your child to aim high and go for the gold.

The Global Games is an exciting 5-day programme packed with sports competitions, activities and the chance to make new friends from Nord Anglia’s schools across the region. The programme is designed to enable your child to thrive in an atmosphere of ambition, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Planet Hollywood
Arrival and Opening Dinner at Planet Hollywood

We kick off a five-day programme of fun and competition. After registering and checking into the hotel, your child will meet fellow Nord Anglia students and get the chance to relax by the pool. In the evening, we will celebrate the start of the Global Games with a trip to Disney Springs!

When your child’s not participating in their first round of events, they’ll be enjoying their free time at our on-campus Olympic Village. And what better way to wind down than at Dave & Buster’s? We’ve booked out the whole venue for food, games and prizes.

The Global Games continues with Epcot

After another big day of sport at Windermere Preparatory School, you child will head
to Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center to have dinner and enjoy many culturally themed showcases and the amazing 20-minute interactive Illumination show. They will also have free time to ride the famed Future World Test Track or travel in time on the Spaceship Earth.

Universal Studios
Championship Day, Awards Ceremony and Universal Studios

We will celebrate sportsmanship, team work and the winners of the Global Games at an awards ceremony before heading to Universal Studios for an afternoon of fun on such rides as Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Transformer 3D or Terminator 3D. When Universal Studios closes, your child will head over to the Universal Studio City Walk where they will enjoy dinner at one of the following venues: Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Antojitos or NBC Sports Grill & Brew.

Departure

Time to say goodbye. After several days of action-packed events, we bid farewell to students and chaperones, who will leave for the airport via prearranged buses. Departures will vary due to each school’s travel schedule.
