Mr. Larson has over 30 year teaching and administrative experience in education and has served as a senior administrator and School Director at international schools in different countries such as Tanzania, USA, China, Bulgaria, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Larson joined Léman International School as the Headmaster in 2012. While with Léman International, he guided the development of new school Mission and Vision through a collaborative partnership between all school constituents and oversaw authorization of the IB Diploma Programme for LIS. In addition he is now leading LIS through the joint accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of School and Colleges (NEASC).
Previously, Mr. Larson was the School Director of The International School of Tianjin. He established ACAMIS (Association of China and Mongolia International Schools) with Directors of other international schools and was elected as the founding president. ACAMIS links together 70 international schools and provided continued connections for students through sports tournaments and culture events, and also helps school staff through professional development programs and networking opportunities.
