Paul's educational philosophy empowers students by challenging them in mathematics. He constantly seeks to provide students with learning opportunities that develop their skills needed to become effective, reflective and ambitious learners in mathematics.
Paul's qualifications include a degree in Mathematics from the Queensland University of Technology (2005) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from King's College London. He is passionate about challenging students in mathematics and achieves this through innovative learning strategies, practical or real life investigations, problem solving and collaborative learning activities on a regular basis.
Paul believes that the greatest impact that teachers can make on student outcomes is outside the classroom. After joining The British School of Warsaw, Paul initiated volunteer projects to help the local community. He strongly believes that building a culture of service and community brings students and teachers together with a common goal to help others.
Paul has over a decade of experience in teaching in international schools around the world including Australia, UK, and Malaysia. According to Paul, the most rewarding part about being a teacher is working with students who are reflective, resilient and determined learners.
