I joined The British International School Abu Dhabi in 2013 after working in Jordan Cambridge High School for four years, which is one of the top IB schools across the Middle East. My graduation in Arabic literature was completed at Mu’ta University in Jordan.
Joining Nord Anglia Education was my ambition to further improve my career and enhance my IB experience to prepare young students to achieve good results in the IB Diploma Programme. I always believed that teaching in high school is full of new opportunities and challenges. BIS Abu Dhabi has been flourishing through years and establishing its benchmark in the IB programme.
As Head of Arabic in Secondary school, I am confident that my team is dedicated to meet the requirements of young learners and prepare them for the challenges of the twenty first century. My priority is to develop a fun way of learning Arabic and to bring outstanding results in IB and IGCSE exams. As an IB school I will work towards making our students internalise, practise and reflect on the IB learner profile.
I am married and father of Omar and Zain. Swimming and football are my favourite hobbies and I also enjoy reading books and journals.
