Admissions Coordinator

I have worked in the education sector for the last nine years, five of those being in the role of a Learning Assistant, working across all age groups. Although passionate about working with children, I decided to take a new career path and have been the Admissions Coordinator at NAISAK for the last three years. This role allows me work closely with not only our parent body, but the whole school community. It has been exciting to watch the school grow quite considerably in numbers since being in this role and I look forward to being a part of its continued journey.

I am the very proud mum to two beautiful children, a little girl, Millie-Rose and we have recently welcomed a little boy, Henri-Patrick. We moved as a family to Qatar in January 2012 shortly after our festive wedding. Having never lived away from home, this was initially very daunting but it has certainly been a positive move. After a busy working week, I enjoy nothing more than spending quality time as a family, be it in the swimming pool, at home or in one of the many elaborate malls that Qatar has to offer. With my parents also being on the international circuit, I have been fortunate enough to visit many countries, however, there are certainly many more that I am yet to discover.

An unique experience of working in this role allows me to have conversations with people from all over the world - this in itself can be very exciting. Welcoming new students into the school on their first day, coupled with my close contact with parents and teachers ensures that every day is different! Being at the centre of our growing international community is very rewarding and is a role I have enjoyed growing into.
