Last year I taught a Year 3 class here at NAISAK. This year I have moved to Foundation Stage 2 and am very much looking forward to the year ahead. This is my fourth year of teaching, two of which I completed in the U.K. I am part way through a Masters in Education that I am completing through the University of Nottingham. I am looking forward to completing this and ensuring my teaching practice continues to improve through continual learning.
NAISAK is a great place to work. The management team is caring and dedicated to both staff and students in the school. They do their utmost to ensure that a safe and comfortable environment is provided, where engaging learning can take place. They also nurture and encourage everyone to be ambitious and the best that you can be! I have enjoyed my time teaching in Year 3 at NAISAK and am looking forward to new challenges in Foundation Stage.
I am committed to ensuring that I develop a safe and respectful environment, where children will feel safe and inspired to learn. I will model how to be respectful to others and will encourage a sense of curiosity to ensure children develop a love and passion for learning. The learning environment is very important to me and I will ensure that the classroom activities are engaging and inspire children to learn through play. I am naturally a very approachable and caring person; this means I am lucky in that I can develop positive relationships with ease. The fact that I care means that I can maintain these positive relationships. I will always do all that I can for my students and I believe that good communication between school and parents is key for that child’s education. I will always be available before and after school to discuss any concerns and will check each child’s communication book daily.
