I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies from the Arabic Language Department of Al- Azhar University in Zagazig, Egypt. I taught Year 3 and 4 at Faqous High School for Girls before joining Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, which was then Compass International School, Al Khor, in February 2014.
I enjoy having hobbies that keep my brain active, so I love writing, arts and literature, especially novels and poetry. My ambition is to become a skilled teacher in all modern teaching practices, both in theory and in implementation.
I chose to work in this profession because of my love and appreciation for teaching. I want to contribute to making this school special, encourage everyone to work in a team, to learn from each other inside and outside the classroom, teachers and students alike.
My goal is to motivate my students to reach the highest level of academic education, and I will do this through continuous support and motivation.
My plans for this year are to help my students understand their individual learning process both inside the classroom and outside the classroom. I will build a strong relationship with my students and their parents, based on respect and trust.
I will build a positive relationship with my students by recognising and celebrating what makes them unique, as well as creating a safe environment that allows them to feel comfortable and willing to learn. Parents will be kept up to date with their child’s progress through his/her communication book, termly parent/teacher meetings. I would also like to encourage parents to email or phone me if they have any concerns or questions regarding their child’s progress at school.
