Qatar History Teacher

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in 1992 from the University of Constantine, in Algeria, as well as my diploma license in Islamic History. Before joining Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, I taught at the Academy of Dar Al Arqam for a year, as well as the Academy of Roaya. I began working at Compass International School, Al Khor, which is now Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, in 2013.

I am a very sociable person, and I have the ability to work in multicultural teams. I believe that it is very important to create a strong and positive relationship with my colleagues, to maximize productivity. Outside of school, I have several hobbies, some of which include reading, traveling, and sport.

I enjoy working at NAISAK because I believe that the school’s Leadership Team set the highest standards within the school, and instill the motivation to work together as a community (staff, students and parents, too) and make NAISAK the best it can be.

My goal for this year is to continue using differentiated and personalised teaching styles, to keep the students interested and engaged in what they are learning. I plan to work with each and every one of my students to help them reach their potential.

I will maintain communication with parents, encouraging them to work alongside their child to help him/her achiever his/her goals and overcome any difficulties. I will build a personal relationship with parent and students, on the basis of respect and trust. I will strive to ensure that all my students feel comfortable in the classroom, and is able to gain personal confidence, as well as in their learning.

I will keep parents informed of their child’s progress through students’ communication book and parent/teacher meetings. Parents are welcome to contact me via email or telephone if they have any questions or concerns.
