After graduating with a degree in Economics, I worked in industry before deciding that my passion lies in working with young children. I worked in a nursery for two years and then joined the Individual Needs Department at a British International School where I supported individual students that had learning challenges. I completed a qualification to teach students who speak English as an Additional Language, and worked with students to develop their language acquisition skills as part of the Special Educational Needs department at another British International School in Cairo.
Last year, I taught Kindergarten 1 students, which was an exciting challenge and completed a Master in Special and Inclusive Education Degree from University College London (UCL).
I really enjoy travelling, experiencing new cultures, trying new foods and meeting new people. I also like to spend time in nature, whether it be camping in the desert, walking through the forest or relaxing on the beach. I am looking forward to learning how to kitesurf in Qatar as well as developing my practice in yoga.
Students like that I am very caring. They say that I make learning fun and they are not afraid to ask me questions or make mistakes.
Working at NAISAK will give me and the students a lot of opportunities that no other school would provide because it is part of a big family of schools. I am looking forward to working with students and taking part in Global Campus.
