I have previously worked as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant and HR Assistant. Through these roles, I was able to work with people from all over the world and I became enthusiastic about being in a position that gave me the opportunity to meet people with such different and fascinating backgrounds and cultures.
I have recently chosen to relocate from Doha to Al Khor, along with my family. My father works in Ras Laffan, and I decided that I too would like to work in the Al Khor area. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to work at CISAK in the HR Department, alongside Madhuja, the HR Coordinator.
I am the type of person who believes that it is always better to be the one who smiled rather than the one who did not smile back. I believe in dressing to inspire, never to impress. I enjoy going out with friends, to the gym and the malls, though there are days that I prefer spending time at home, reading and watching television series. I would say that my ambition is to continually expand my knowledge in and outside the scope of my current work. In everything that I do, I strive to make my parents proud. I am interested in traveling, and I have a long list of countries that I would like to go to.
One of the reasons I find CISAK to be an exceptional place to work is because I love being around children and learners. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a Pre-school teacher. I have always liked the idea of spending time in a school and continuously learning new things. I realised, however, that my passion for working in HR (to help others find jobs, keep their files safe and ensure that their working place is the best that it can be) outweighed my passion to become a teacher so I enrolled and completed a course in Human Resources.
I have worked in companies specialising in maintenance, events, and oil & gas - but at CISAK, I feel that I am in the right place. Working at CISAK has given me the opportunity to be surrounded by children, whilst working in HR. It is by far my greatest achievement.
