Who we are
Situated on an attractive campus close to the city’s amenities and transport links, St. Andrews International School Bangkok is a thriving medium sized school with students of more than 44 nationalities. Our well-equipped sport, academic and cultural facilities ensure that all aspects of our curriculum are well supported. We are committed to being creative in how we provide opportunities for children of all ages to learn in an exciting, meaningful, beautiful environment. And over the past 19 years we have grown into an excellent international school in Bangkok, focusing on high achievement for every child.
St. Andrews International School Bangkok is a truly inclusive school that welcomes students of all abilities. We ensure that your child will have an equality of opportunity, by providing a well-resourced learning environment where each child's talents and abilities are recognised and nurtured. We are part of Nord Anglia Education, an organisation which is committed to bringing the best of the world’s educational practices to your child.
Our ethos emphasises high achievement within each individual's potential. The curriculum has been carefully constructed to incorporate the best practices of both the English National Curriculum and more international curricula, such as IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate, balanced with academic, creative and physical activities to develop the whole child.
These programmes are underpinned by a pastoral programme which seeks to develop the individual skills necessary for students to make the right decisions, take responsibility for their actions and have a broad understanding and appreciation of the cultures that live together in our international community.
St. Andrews International School Bangkok opened its doors in 1997, with an initial enrolment of just 14 students. It was built on the site of an attractive house and gardens in the centre of the residential area of Bangkok, making us easily accessible by sky train. As student numbers have continued to grow, our campus has been developed with the addition - as well as improvement - of a wide range of excellent facilities, including the High School opening in 2001, a purpose-built Nursery to Year 2 building being opened in September 2006 and new Primary facilities being opened in January 2009.
Today we are a school of more than 1,100 students representing some 45 nationalities and have developed into one of the foremost international schools in Southeast Asia.
