I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and a PGCE in Secondary Sciences in 2005. I then taught in the UK until 2017, in a variety of leadership roles, including Head of House and Second in Faculty of Science. I have recently spent time training teachers in Tanzania and I am a current examiner for GCSE Biology. My work on student leadership has been published in The Cambridge Guide to Excellence and I am looking forward to bringing my experiences to work with the Model United Nations group this year. In my personal life I love to travel and enjoy bringing these experiences into the classroom. Combined with another passion of mine, conservation, I would like to add to the existing wealth of opportunities for students at St Andrews. I love the great sense of community at St Andrews and it is it's inclusive nature, excellent reputation and fantastic students and facilities that attracted me to this school.
