I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy from the Philippines having worked in the government financing department. When my family moved to Thailand, I was given the opportunity to teach Primary and High School students at various international schools in Bangkok. I continued my teaching career as a kindergarten English teacher for more than 13 years in a private trilingual school. While working, I studied and completed my second degree in Secondary Education major in English. I was exposed to different cultures and students from many different ethnic backgrounds and of various ages and abilities, all which further increased my enthusiasm and passion for teaching.
I decided to work in St Andrews so I could impart my knowledge and experience, especially to students with special needs. I feel fortunate to be a part of the St Andrews community which is considered one of the most prestigious educational institutions globally. It's a privilege and honour to work with supportive staff and parents as well as great students who value education. Working here enhances a great opportunity to learn, develop and continually improve my teaching practice professionally.
