I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire and taught in the UK for 3 years as a Physical Education Teacher. In a previous school, one of my major achievements was to set up and run a successful leadership programme in which students were recognised nationally for their achievements at the National Young Ambassadors Awards Day at Wembley. I have also taken a variety of sports teams to national competitions, such as an U11 Boys football team to the national championships at the David Beckham Academy. In recent years I have begun to specialise in independent and cooperative learning and have developed my style and expertise in this area.
The decision to move to St. Andrews was an easy one to make; the highly motivated PE team work together to give all children the opportunity to learn, enjoy and excel within both curriculum and school sport. The children are a joy to teach and always strive to improve in their lessons and are motivated to be the best they can be.
Outside of school I have a keen interest in both sport and travelling; I spend a large amount of time going to the gym and playing competitive sport such as football, tennis and badminton. I have also been lucky enough to spend a year travelling and have visited some amazing places around the world.
St. Andrews is a great place to work as the pupils are motivated to be the best they can be across all areas of the school.
