It was the love of sports that lead me to a teaching career here in Thailand 11 years ago. I had my first position as a PE Teacher in Siam International School, Rangsit. I taught all levels of students and worked there for 2 years. My second job was at Heathfield International School, Bangkok where I worked as a PE and swimming teacher for a further 2 years. Prior to joining St. Andrews, I spent 6 years working as a PE and swimming teacher to students in Modern Montesorri International Pre-School Bangkok. After finishing my Master's in Education I decided to join St. Andrews and accepted the challenge of working in a bigger school with a wider range of students. I also took up the opportunity to coach the school basketball squad. I am a very sporty individual; I love playing tennis and football. But my true passion is basketball. I have played competitive basketball at both secondary and collegiate level back in the Philippines. I have been organising the basketball league here in Bangkok for the last 3 years. I am currently planning to run a youth basketball summer camp here in Bangkok as well.
St. Andrews is a big community where staff and teachers are close and have a very good working relationship. I am impressed with how the administration supports the teachers and students by providing top class facilities and learning equipment.
