I have always had a passion for sport and leading a healthy active lifestyle. This led me to begin my career in sport through the University of Bedfordshire in the UK. Throughout my time in teaching I have been able to set up and organise a number of different activities tailored for specific individual needs. I have had particular focus with girls PE throughout my teaching career. I was given the opportunity to run a girls pilot scheme which focused particularly on motivating and inspiring young girl’s motivation, aspirations and self-confidence through the use of sport.
I am an honest, caring and fair teacher. I like to bring out the best in students and strive to encourage them to lead a healthy active lifestyle. I have seen how sport can encourage young people to develop their self-confidence and lead them to become more resilient citizens of the world. St. Andrews allows all students to achieve the best that they can be.
I have always enjoyed being healthy and active throughout my life. I was brought up with the attitude that exercise and leading a healthy life were important and essential for leading a happy life. I have found this to be true and enjoyed growing up performing in Gymnastics and Swimming. I enjoy skiing, surfing, and trail running and will try at any different sport.
I moved to Bangkok with my partner, Mr. Patrick this year. Although my family remains in the UK, I have been given the opportunity of setting up a nice home amongst a good community in Bangkok.
St. Andrews offers an immense extra-curricular programme that allows students to participate in a number of sports and represent the school through a number of events and competitions. The teaching staff are highly motivated and dedicated to allowing each student to be the best that they can be in a caring and supportive environment.
