Staff Profiles: Budsadee Ruaynirat

Budsadee

Thai Teacher / EY, KS1 & KS2 Thai Coordinator

I graduated with a Master of Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors of Education (Hons) at Chulalongkorn University.

I worked as a supply Thai teacher at Bangkok Patana School from 2003 to 2006. I made the decision to come to St. Andrews because I love the warm atmosphere, and is why I have stayed here for 8 years now. I am currently a KS2 Thai Coordinator as well as a Thai KS1-KS4 Thai teacher.

I love teaching and would love to see my students use Thai with confidence and joy in the community and in their lives.

The Head of School and teaching staff always give support. They have an open mind and listen to us when our team has concerns or need advice.

“I really enjoy the way Khru Joy varies her techniques of teaching and never gets bored as she teaches, using many actions/gestures and a range of voice tones to keep the lesson exciting.”

“Khru Joy is a phenomenal teacher. She gives us her free time after school to thoroughly explain the home-class work to us, and she makes Thai class not boring by being a bit cheerful and light-hearted.”

“Khru Joy’s knowledge of Thai culture really enhances the learning; I get to learn the surroundings in the Thai society.”
