Winter is here!

This week Year One have been introduced to the ‘Snowman’. We watched the story and had a go at writing what happens after the boy and snowman flies in the air.

To get the winter season rolling we also made snowman pictures using our feet! We had great fun squelching in the white paint and printing them onto card! Sorry for all the paint that may have transferred onto trousers! We did try to be careful. The squeals of delight were enough for us to realise the children were loving the experience.

Along with the footprint body the children spent some time cutting out a scarf, hat, nose and arms for their snowman picture using a variety of materials. I hope you enjoy the pictures when they are stuck up on your fridge to remind you of how much fun you can have when winter comes to town.
