In KS1, children worked with a partner to draw the plot, setting and characters of familiar stories. Then they had a chance to visualize and tell the story in front of their classes.
In KS2, we worked collaboratively to learn some new words using board games and technology. To practise our new vocabulary, we did a good job at repeating and visualising the words. We played ‘picture matching’ games to help us understand how compound words are formed, then used the interactive board and iPads to create posters for beautiful sceneries.
