UNICEF World Children’s Day

This week the children at BSB Sanlitun have been busy learning about UNICEF’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

There are 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. If these Goals are completed, it would mean an end to extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030.

Each class has been assigned one of the 17 goals to learn about. The children have been challenged to find out about their global goal and come up with ways that the community can help support their goal.

On World Children’s Day on Monday 20th November our school will be taking part in WCD activities and the children will be part of a chain reaction with our fellow NAE schools around the world to help spread the word. All classes are working together to creatively present a question to a group of schools within NAE in a video submission.
