    Petrina Booth

    I first began my journey into teaching at a local London college where I received an excellence award for my course work and was asked to speak to other trainee teachers about the process of qualifying. Through that course I gained the qualifications required to obtain a place at Roehampton University where I secured my Bachelor of Education degree with a music specialism. Studying was something I thoroughly enjoyed and I constantly strive to be as inspirational for the children I teach as my lecturers were for me.

    Michael O’Boyle

    I had worked in industry, running my own carpentry business. However I decided to change direction and follow an academic path. Through sport I had an opportunity to coach in schools. I enjoyed working with children, this changed my direction and I decided to embrace education as a career. I completed my degree at the University of Plymouth.

    Rebecca Kirkby

    Since graduating from the University of Winchester in 2000, I have had the experience of working right the way through the primary age range. I have worked in a number of schools around Hampshire and Kent. In 2005, I was offered the fantastic opportunity to be a Lead Music Teacher. It was my responsibility to ensure that all children in the 16 schools that I managed were given the chance to learn a musical instrument for free.
