My degree was in International Relations. I loved the learning experiences it incorporated: history, cultures and religions of the world, geography and data handling/statistics with current and previous global politics. The degree almost formalised my life experiences. I gained a 2-1 upper class degree. I then progressed to complete my PGCE at St Luke’s College, University of Exeter.
I am now an accomplished and experienced class teacher with excellent interpersonal skills with both students and adults alike. I see myself as a problem solver. I have experience in KS2 and KS1 delivering the National Curriculum with an emphasis on excellence in literacy and numeracy.
I have previously been part of an extremely driven and hardworking team, who have tirelessly strived to raise standards throughout. I was part of the senior leadership team making key decisions on pastoral responsibilities, providing a trusting, inspirational learning environment. I like to give pupils key skills to take ownership of their own learning.
