Classroom News & Photos EYFS

In Reception we have been exploring different changes that occur all around us!

The children have focused on weather and seasonal changes, scientific changes through conducting experiments and changes that happen from starting as a baby into adulthood.

In Maths, we have reviewed our counting up to 20 and practised the concept of adding ‘one more’.

The children also reviewed Phase 2 sounds and high frequency words through playing games and writing activities.

The Reception classes had questions about how animals have long sleeps or hibernate. Then they enjoyed pretending to be hedgehogs, bears and squirrels having go in the ‘Hibernation Cave’ in the role play area.
