Want to learn more about the interesting culture of China? Our BSB Parents’ Association is presenting a series of China talks this year and have invited China experts to share fascinating insights on different aspects of Chinese history, traditions & society.

  • Date: Thursday 10th December
  • Time:  10am-12pm
  • Location: The British School of Beijing (BSB) Shunyi Theatre
  • Cost: RMB 100 per lecture, part of proceeds go to charity

This month's topic: Chinese symbols

Chinese people love symbols; fruits, flowers, colors, characters – many of them have a special meaning that every Chinese seems to know, even up until today. During this presentation we will give you examples used for all kind of occasions and events, like marriage and Chinese New Year.
