BSB at the Battle of the Books

Last Sunday 14th June, 2015 saw the final clash of The Battle of The Books, with BSB attaining a highly respectable (and best-ever) placing of 4th best team overall out of the multiple entrants.

Reading 15 books over the year, our intrepid team of Claire Shannon-Vermillion, Alex Kroepfl, Konnor Wallis, Deborah Zand, Lucas Park and Jeremy Cao collaborated to read over a million words each (and answer a raft of questions).

Managing a range of challenging genres, the students read with zeal and fun.

Our Battles will continue in earnest next year, with even more participation expected with The Global Library and other reading initiatives coming to fruition. Watch this space for more opportunities next year.
