Year 3 worked hard throughout May to perfect their year 3 production.

On the 20th May it was their time to shine as they performed two productions to both children and parents. The performance told the story of three school children, who were fed up of sitting through boring history lessons. The children travelled back in time to Ancient Egypt and got to experience what life was really like. The children’s acting was wonderful and they all showed such confidence during all of our performances. The children delivered their lines with good humour which was mirrored throughout the songs they sang. Some of the highlights were; a song about Tutankhamen sang to the tune of ‘Moves Like Jagger’ and the children being taught how to read hieroglyphs to the tune of ‘ABC’ by the Jackson 5.  All in all a wonderful production enjoyed by everyone!

Following their production the children has a special trip to Sony science museum. The children arrived in time for snack and were then ready to explore! The museum taught the children about light and sound, building on knowledge already learned in class. We spent the day exploring the different rooms engaging with the games and displays on show. By the end of the day it was clear to see that the children had had a wonderful time and were well and truly ready for a relaxing weekend!
