Following the launch assembly, primary children have enjoyed taking part in the Global Campus Online and Global Campus In School. This is a safe, fun and educational learning platform that connects our 32,000 Nord Anglia students around the world to collaborate, discuss and learn together every day. It enables pupils to explore the world and develop a truly international perspective through outstanding online, in school and worldwide experiences.

Children in Years 4-6 have all had the chance to log on in school, using their Moodle login details and they have practised accessing different areas of the site. They can watch videos, complete challenges, answer questions, enter competitions and discuss their ideas and opinions with other Nord Anglia pupils around the world. These activities are designed to help children ‘Be Ambitious’; they challenge you, make you think and enable you to explore new ideas.

The new primary passports are a great way for pupils to record their achievements and progress, and awarded stamps lead to certificates! Contributing an interesting comment on the online forums can also earn children a ‘great post’. At the end of the year pupils who have posted more than 40 comments will also receive a special award.

Throughout the rest of the year on the Global Campus children will have the chance to enter the creative writing competition, illustration competition, the new Global Library, ‘be ambitious’ challenges, debating league and Global Orchestra, as well as continuing to learn and participate regularly in a variety of areas on the Global Campus website.

Update from: Ms. Emily Newman, Year 6 Class Teacher, Global Campus Lead Teacher
