All BSB Choirs performed Christmas carols at various venues around Beijing this past weekend. They spread holiday cheer and had a great time behind the scenes as well.
The weekend started on Friday evening with a performance at Langham Place by the Y3&4 Choir. They had a great time during the sound check and ate a lovely dinner before their beautiful performances in the lobby. They had to work extra hard to sing loudly and clearly as they were divided into two smaller groups.
On Saturday, the Y1&2 Choir delighted their audience at the River Garden Christmas party. They sang on the stairs; for many of them, it was their first ever off-campus performance!
And the caroling weekend ended with the Y5&6 Choir and Secondary Choir trip all day Sunday into Beijing. Both choirs performed over the lunch hour in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Hotel and received so many compliments from the hotel guests. They enjoyed a fancy lunch at the Hyatt and then made their way to the Marriott Hotel. The tree lighting ceremony at the Marriott is truly magical and once again was their favourite caroling destination. After a sound check and another delicious dinner, they had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus. The evening ended with their performance on the stairs under a spotlight.
Please enjoy the pictures and join me in congratulating these wonderful BSB students for representing the school and bringing beautiful Music to all.
