It's the Queens 90th Birthday celebrations in London this weekend and students were lucky enough to see the RAF fly over the Thames towards Buckingham Palace at lunch time. This was after an incredible private guided tour of the Houses of Parliament. The tour featured The House of Commons, The House of Lords and many other Royal Apartments and rooms which included a commissioned metal and illuminated glass sculpture by Mary Branson. The piece, titled New Dawn, was only unveiled to the public three days ago.

The afternoon continued with a competitive photography walk along Southbank towards Tower Bridge. Winners of the photography competition will be revealed on the last day. After a short break back at the hostel we returned to London Bridge for a Nandos!
