On 5th June, all BSB choirs and rock bands performed at the outdoor marquee for the Summer Fayre. These groups have been working hard and performing all year, but they added something new for the Summer Fayre – joint pieces.

The Junior Choir directed by Ms Leanne Harbord opened the event. The rock band “The Electic” performed three times: a joint song with the Junior Choir, a joint song with the Secondary Choir, and two pieces on their own which they also performed at Rock Fest. The Primary Choir sang three beautiful songs before they were joined by the Secondary Choir to perform the Voices Around the World project song “Lighting Up the Flame”. To finish the performances of the day, the rock band “The Limestones” played songs by Green Day and Nirvana.

It was great to see the groups performing together and enjoying the sunshine! Please see the photos from this event.
