This week in Reception the children enjoyed learning about frogs, with the children being especially interested in how they change and how they move. We have been carefully watching our tadpoles, waiting for them to grow legs and for their tails to drop off!

As we have been moving like frogs, hopping and jumping, we have been discussing the importance of moving to be healthy which has led to further conversations about ways to keep healthy. The children have talked about eating a variety of food to be healthy and different ways to exercise. They were very creative as we measured our movements in different ways, such as how fast we could crawl or how far we could hop.
