As the youngest year group to have a residential trip here at BSB, we decided it was best not to venture too far. That is why Year 3 had their two-night residential to the Northern Hills. There, we visited the Wulingshan Great Wall, a village with a dam which supplies the local area with water and forest park. The children enjoyed their two-night stay in a local hotel with three fun-filled days of team building activities and sight-seeing. The children challenged themselves with long hikes, learning about the history, geography and also about farming in the area. It was an amazing learning experience for the children and teachers alike.
Nana Li, 3PA – My favourite part of the trip was the disco on the last night, we had a dance competition with Mr Davenport and JaeYoon made up a funny dance!
Bende, 3PA – The view from the Great Wall was really beautiful. We had warm weather with lots of sun. Everyone was happy and enjoyed the day. We were very tired and hungry, so we ate all the food at the restaurant and fell asleep very quickly.
