At 22th March there was the international water day. Reason enough to remember and to reflect how important water is. Water is life and water is science.  So a handful of German Year 1 kids dived into the water universe. Where we can find water – first answer: “in the water bottle”. That’s very useful know-how, but we find more water. And water is not water. Sweet water has this very salty brother, “ugh!” Water is also magic. We learned it in some experiments. Crazy effects like the surface tension of water or the capillary attraction. And yes, sometimes water is only wet.
