Courtlife in the Forbidden City

For almost five hundred years the emperors of the Ming- and Qing dynasties lived in the Forbidden City. During this talk we will tell you more about court life in this secluded area that was absolutely forbidden for commoners to enter. What were the official tasks of the emperors in the Outer Court? And how was life in the Inner Court, where the emperor lived and the women’s quarters were? Moreover we will tell you about their trips to the Summer Palaces, the hunting trips and the inspection tours in the country made by some of the emperors.

Cost per person is 100RMB of which 20RMB is donated to charity
