Our extensive facilities and highly qualified coaching staff allow students the opportunities to develop, train, compete and succeed at a wide range of team and individual sports.
Practices take place before school, at lunchtime, after school and at weekends, building on the work in curriculum lessons.
We are part of many different sporting organisations and this gives our young athletes a great many opportunities for competition and fun.
Association of China and Mongolia International Schools
For our older students, the highlight of the sporting year is the end of season ACAMIS tournament. Teams travel across China to compete in volleyball, basketball, netball, rugby, swimming and football tournaments, enjoying three days of intense competition and collegiality with other schools from different cities. This is a great learning experience, building teamwork and drawing some outstanding performances from students.
Federation of British International Schools in Asia
Students from year 4 to year 10 have the opportunity to compete in the FOBISIA games, an international sporting event held three times each year in a variety of places across Asia. A team of 36 multi-talented students is selected to compete in football, athletics, swimming and basketball or tee-ball. As much a celebration of sport as a competition, the FOBISIA games is a real experience for those who take part, and an opportunity for parents, teachers and young athletes to enjoy a fantastic event.
