I graduated from Hebei Normal University of Science & Technology in 2014. I then worked for an airline company for more than 2 years before I joined The British School of Beijing. Working for an airline and now in a school are quite different, but I learnt many things about being with different people and cultures during my time with the airline company which are transferable skills. I believe these skills make a great contribution to my work here at school.

I am a hard worker and very sincere and enjoy working at The British School of Beijing.

I graduated in 2006 from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications majoring in English literature (BA degree). Though my working experience afterwards was unrelated to education, I never stopped loving it. My interest in teaching has started to grow since I've had my daughter, so I decided to join BSB which is a prestigious school known for its nurturing and multi-cultural environment. I am so exited to work with so many excellent teachers and adorable children at BSB this year . There is no limit to what every student can achieve and I am committed to help them grow to their fullest potential.

I love spending time with my family and hiking in nature.  On weekends my family go to the mountains or parks to breathe the fresh air and embrace nature. Also, I am learning how to play a guitar now though I know nothing about music. It’s never too late to learn, right?

I graduated with a BA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at Guangxi Normal University.  I completed a 2 months internship at the College of Foreign Languages at Vietnam’s National University in Hanoi and obtained an Outstanding in Chinese Language and Class/Culture Teacher.  I achieved the certificate of Mandarin Proficiency Test for B level of 1st Grade and the English Teaching Qualification Certificate of High School in China.

After teaching in Beijing for one year after College I started to be a self-employed Professional Chinese Language & Culture Instructor for International School Students (BSB, WAB, ISB, Dulwich) and Expatriates (Intel, Nokia, Ericsson, Simens) aged from 3 years old to 81 from different countries of 5 continents. I spent 2 years as a private tutor for a family in the United States.  Thus gave me a first hand experience about how western parents raise their children. After a time, I followed my curiosity and determination about learning from the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum to be a bridge between different cultures.

I joined BSB February 2014 and I love how BSB encourages independence , exploration and responsibility in its children. Through high quality learning BSB helps each individual child to achieve their full potential and inspires the genius in them.

Teaching children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old ignited my passion for education. Since joining BSB Shunyi I have made great developments. The kids are lovely and adorable and I really enjoy working with them very much.

I came from Shijiazhuang, HeBei province. In my spare time, I like reading and I like movies very much. I often go for walks in the park and enjoy watching the sun set.

I decided to come to BSB because of my little son, who encourages me to learn and practice more about teaching children from professional perspective. My academic background is Chinese language and literature. I gained a certificate of Teaching Chinese as a second language in 2007 and have had experience in teaching Chinese. Before coming here I was involved in a lot of work as a Personal Assistant and Office Director for companies.

I am fond of music, art and sport. In my spare time I usually play tennis, badminton, go swimming and enjoy other sport activities. Sometimes I practice painting and I am part of Chinese calligraphy club. If I have the chance I do karaoke with my son and friends.
