The British International School of Boston is proud to announce that Suffolk University professor Dr. Patricia Hogan will serve as the graduation speaker for the Class of 2015 on Friday, June 5.

Dr. Patricia Hogan is an associate professor at Suffolk University in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Hogan holds a BS in chemical engineering and an MS in environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MA in chemistry from Bridgewater State University, and a PhD in chemistry from Brown University.

While she has worked in higher education for many years, Dr. Hogan is not a life-long academic. She spent the early part of her career as an environmental process engineer for engineering design and construction companies and as a chemical health and safety consultant.

Since her start at Suffolk University in 2000, Dr. Hogan has taught in a variety of disciplines and managed two programs: the environmental science program (2000-2005) and the environmental engineering program (2004-2010).

Dr. Hogan is interested in environmental education at all school levels and is currently exploring how science, engineering, and art can work collaboratively to move sustainability efforts forward in urban environments.

We look forward to hearing from Dr. Hogan about her professional experiences at our Graduation ceremony on Friday, June 5 at the school. The British International School of Boston will graduate 15 students this year, our biggest graduating class ever!
