Motivating Students to Achieve Success

Wednesday, October 7, 6:30 p.m.

This free event feature nationally recognized speaker, Susan Fitzell, M. Ed, CSP, also known as The Homework Guru. Susan is a dynamic, presenter, author of more than 10 books for teachers and parents, and an educational consultant. 

Attendees will learn how to foster motivation at school and at home, 

motivate the unmotivated, empower youth to reach their goals, make homework and studying fun and identify and teach body language that exudes confidence.

This event is FREE and open to the public, so we encourage you to bring your friends, family, neighbors and others who live in the Boston area.

Join us at our Boston school for an evening with Catherine Steiner-Adair. Author of the award-wining book, The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age, Dr. Steiner-Adair examines ways in which technology and media change how children learn and grow, and show parents how to reap the benefits of tech while reducing the risks it poses at every stage of development.

Technology & Learning in the Early Years

Wednesday, May 18, 2016, 7 p.m.

Our Boston school will host Sara Adelmann, a former early childhood education teacher and an expert in how screen-time, technology and media can impact young children.

Sara will walk parents through the ways that media and technology can impact learning in the early years, both positively and negatively, and give parents practical tips for utilizing technology wisely in their homes.
