I graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science and a focus on teaching physical education and health education. Before graduating college, I completed my student teaching at two large middle and high schools in Manchester, New Hampshire. Shortly after graduation I moved to Boston where I landed my first teaching position at a private school called Buckingham, Browne and Nichols located in Cambridge, MA.
Currently I am the Director of Athletics as well as the Head of Physical Education. As the Director of Athletics I schedule all middle school and high school athletic competitions, set up various extracurricular clubs for all ages and coach middle school basketball and middle and high school soccer. I have spent 2 seasons coaching the boys' middle school basketball team and high school soccer team and 1 season coaching the girls' middle school soccer team.
I am always full of energy and love playing any type of sports. On any given day you can find me out running the streets of Boston or shooting some hoops at a local basketball court. I grew up on a small island off the coast of Rhode Island called Block Island and graduated high school in a class of 8 students. Coming from a small community, I can relate to the challenges and benefits of working at a through school with small class sizes. I have a younger brother who still lives on Block Island.

what makes this school different
This school is different to all others I have worked at because it is an international school that also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and International General Certificate of Secondary Education programs.
